Testimonials

A great resource for counselors with any experience level!

by Beth Vincent, PhD, LCMHC

I initially listened to Supervision and Burnout through the lens of a field supervisor in a counselor education program hoping to find resources to support burnout prevention. Not only did this episode provide these tools but I also found myself sharing the episode for my students to listen to as a way to promote their decision-making around finding and securing a supervisor after graduation. I really appreciated the dual purpose of this content and the ability to have value for a range of counselors.

Excellent Insight

Adam Brandt, PhD, LCMHCA

I would highly recommend this podcast to therapists looking to take their clinical intuition to the next level. Clinical intuition is a bit of a nebulous topic to cover, but Candice and her guest demonstrated many excellent examples of how to cultivate and use clinical intuition in session. One of the biggest takeaways for me was to carve out space to think about clients out sessions. As therapists, we need time to be curious and exploratory about clients' lives apart from sessions in order to foster clinical intuition.
