Summary

As awareness of perinatal mood disorders and loss increases, clinicians are addressing these issues more frequently in the course of treatment. In today's episode, we'll talk with Perinatal Mental Health Specialist, Kayce Hodos about her work with perinatal clients. LCMHC, NCC has a Masters of Education in Counseling from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She received special training in perinatal mental health through PSI (Postpartum Support International).

Candice Creasman Mowrey

PhD, LCMHCS - Dr. Candice Creasman Mowrey received a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008, and a Doctorate in Counseling and Counselor Education from North Carolina State University in 2015. She has worked in in-patient, psychosocial rehabilitation, community agency, disability services, and intensive outpatient settings. She founded Creasman Counseling, PLLC, a single-person private practice, in 2011, which has grown to a team of over a dozen culturally and professionally diverse clinicians. Dr. Creasman Mowrey has taught Masters level counseling students in online and in-person settings, and currently directs a Clinical Mental Health Counseling internship program.
